Applications Being Accepted for Women in Science Fellowship Applications Being Accepted for Women in Science Fellowship Applications Being Accepted for Women in Science FellowshipJan. 12, 2018 The LOral USA For Women in Science fellowship program is now accepting applications from female postdoctoral students in the United States for one of five $60,000 grants that will be presented through the program this year. The deadline to apply for a 2018 LOral USA For Women in Science fellowship grant is Feb. 2.Now in its 14th year, the LOral USA For Women in Science fellowship program annually recognizes five exceptional female postdoctoral scientists for their contributions in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields and their commitment to serving as role models for younger generations. Since 2003, 70 grants totaling more than $3.5 million have been awarded through the program, which is the U.S. branch of the LOral-UNESCO For Women in Science International Fellowships prog ram.Candidates will be considered from a variety of fields, including the life and physical/material sciences, technology (including computer science), engineering, and mathematics.
